A guided experience lasting approximately 40 minutes, designed for those who want to discover the world of extra virgin olive oil from every angle.
It begins with a brief introduction to olive varieties and harvesting and processing techniques, to understand how quality oils are created.

Then we move on to the practical part: you’ll learn how a professional tasting is conducted, just like in a panel group. Three different oils will be tasted and analyzed, and you’ll be able to fill out the official sensory evaluation form to learn about the aromas, flavors, and organoleptic characteristics of each oil.

🌿 Simplicity becomes special: In this cooking class, you’ll learn how to make Umbrichelli, a simple dish made with just flour and water that delights the palate with a touch of extra virgin olive oil.

It will be a unique opportunity to get your hands dirty, slow down, and have fun in the kitchen, playing together while learning an ancient skill and a new recipe, amidst laughter, authentic aromas, and flavors. We’ll then top it with a simple combination of Pachino tomatoes, Taggiasca olives, and a drizzle of olive oil… how wonderful!

The tour would not be complete without a short visit to the village of Montecchio: a medieval village, perched on the Umbrian Apennines and immersed in hills dotted with olive trees, where time flows in unison with the rhythm of nature. The colors and flavors are authentic and inspire the genuine soul of the locals. Here you can find yourself and appreciate an authentic, primordial and uncontaminated serenity.

A short walk to discover our Oliveto “Il Pero”, the place where our grandfather used to take us.

A wonderful 5-hectare plot that once housed a vineyard and has been home to our new olive grove since 2012. A semi-intensive system of 3 varieties of olives: Moraiolo, Nocellara, and Leccio del Corno trees.
A new-generation olive grove that allows for mechanized management and from which we obtain our monocultivar Extra Virgin.
We will walk immersed among the trees and all around a 360-degree view of the rolling Umbrian hills, a landscape that speaks of beauty and relaxation.
