THE HARVEST

The Harvest begins in mid-October to end in mid or late December depending on the season more or less charge. This is made manually on older olive groves and uncomfortable not so adaptable to mechanization. It is obtained using a mechanical shaker, where the morphological composition of the soil and the plant allows it.

Once collected, the olives are loaded on bins and taken to the mill where they immediately run weighing, leaf removal and washing.

PROCESSING

n 2012, the equipment has been completely renovated. The company is equipped with the new system “MOLINOVA the Gold Series”. The processing steps are:

  • Crushing – Crushing the olives and grind to a paste state.
  • Kneading – Shuffling of the olive paste to facilitate the separation of the liquid component from the solid.
  • Extraction – Through the press or “Decanter” separates the solid part (Sansa) from Liquid (oil + water)
  • Separation – The final step is the separator (or centrifuge) that by turning at high speed, separating the oil from the water.

The oil obtained with this natural process without any chemical additive is extra virgin olive oil and to this end is immediately subjected to chemical analysis to determine whether the chemical values ​​comply with the parameters established by law.

BOTTLING

The oil thus obtained is analyzed and directly bottled after a brief natural settling in tanks.

MOLINOVA SERIE ORO

Automatic continuous plant Molinova Serie Oro (Gold Series) represents today the top product of the Pieralisi range. Designed for batch processing, it is completely automated and able to run also in continuous.

MODULARITY OF THE PLANT
Flexibility in the composition of the kneading group: it is possible to add just one module to the plant, depending on customer needs.

COMPUTERIZED MANAGEMENT OF THE KNEADING TIMES
Since each kneader is equipped with an independent motor, it is possible to start just one kneader in case of need. At the end of the programmed kneading time, the blades turning speed will be automatically reduced.

BEST THERMAL EFFICIENCY OF THE SINGLE KNEADERS
The thermal insulation of the kneaders and the independent heating facilitate electrical costs saving, obtaining best quality and best yield in oil.

WASHING OF THE KNEADERS
Independent washing system for each kneader: possibility to wash basins and blades whenever required, improving the oil quality.

WASHING OF THE SEPARATORS
The plant is equipped with a new type of separators, preset for automatic washing of the plates (MISTER CIP system), according to the operator’s needs.
